Challenge
To better secure our o365 accounts.
Cause
Not nice folks out there.
Solution
1. After it is enabled please log into the web o365 portal.
a. portal.office.com
2. You will be prompted with this message. Please click Next
3. Please log into the App Store you have on your phone and download the Microsoft Authenticator App. Click Next after this is done
4. Log into Authenticator App on your phone. Click Next
5. In the Authenticator App, click the + button in the upper right and add Work/School account and select Scan QR Code and scan QR code provided.
6. I didn't get a screenshot of this, but it will do a confirmation test by asking a question on the computer and you need to answer it in the app.
7. You are configured and will need to reconnect using this app for all devices that are logged into the o365 account.
