Unsupported File Type in Document Center

Challenge

A file type that is not supported by Dentrix Document Center was added and causes Document Center to freeze when it's selected.

Cause

Dentrix allows all file types to be imported into the Document Center. Some of these files are not supported and cause the software to freeze.  The solution is to remove the files.

Solution

1. Open the Document Center with the problematic file.

2. Disable the Preview Pane (1)

2. Locate the unsupported file and Select (1) it then Right Click and Select Delete Document (2) (Either option)

3. Re-enable the Preview Pane (1)
